This was East Sussex in the UK this morning on one of our local walks. It’s been such a beautiful day and we haven’t been to the woods for a little while (on account of Georgie eating something nasty and getting very sick). So we all enjoyed the change and kicking around in the Autumn Leaves (cue song . . . )
Both dogs love to drink from the base of the trees. Here’s Jessie having a quick break from important explorations.

And Georgie in a classic Retriever pose – on her back in the leaves having a good old rub in the dirt!

Finally, Jessie notices something move in the trees – I just caught her before she raced off.

The leaves in the house were proof we’d been there today. I’m still pulling bits off Georgie’s tummy!

that looks like the perfect place for a walk! Atlas would love it too.
We know a few Weimaranas and they certainly love it there. It’s the sort of place where on a sunny day it feels quite idyllic, and then on a dark, stormy day you catch yourself thinking, ‘There’s no-one else about.Would my dogs look after me if anything happened?!’
Hilary, you are very lucky indeed. I take my dogs into the wilds mostly tracking after lost greys – there’s a;ways cougars and coyotes to fret about and even Cindy Lou gets a tad upset at times – mostly it is just the way my mind works alone in the depths of no were…..every little leaf rustle is magnified one thousand times…..
Hi Sara, yes we never have to worry about wild animals – more wild people I suppose! But again that’s ‘just my imagination, running away with me’. Happy tracking!
