Frankie – new pup in town

Please say hello to Frankie, the newest addition to our dog walking community. He’s certainly a little darling and everyone wants to give him some love! He’ll be twelve weeks old on Wednesday (5th November) and is a Springer Doodle – sometimes called a Springerpoo: a cross between an English Springer Spaniel and a Miniature Poodle.

The big dogs accidently knock him over from time to time and he falls on his back and tumbles back round onto his legs. He’s a cutie alright – small for his age (the runt of the litter we think) but doing very well with his new owner.

Welcome Frankie :)

Does anyone know this bird?

This is a close crop from the original post below so the quality of the photo is not very clear. We’re trying to identify this bird. Any ideas?
Location? Southern England – part of the ancient chalk grassland of the South Downs. If anyone knows, please send me a comment.

When we find out, I can then post it back on my ‘Freshly Mown Grass’ blog and sound very knowledgeable :)
