RSPCA Carol Singing in Brighton Station

Quietly minding my own business, coming home from a day visiting my Mum, I heard carol singing in Brighton Station.  And the carol singers had their dogs with them. And I had my camera with me :)   So everything was perfect!

They were raising money for the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals),  a registered charity receiving no lottery or state aid.  Its £82 million annual running costs are funded exclusively by voluntary donations and legacies.

Here’s Purdey and Rosie the Shih Tzus, and Lucy the Labradoodle (we think). All three lovely dogs found new homes thanks to the RSPCA.

Let’s hope they made lots of money.

Please help the RSPCA to improve the lives of animals today.

  1. The RSPCA is one of my favorite charities. I urge everyone to donate what they can to this organization, because animal cruelty is still such a huge problem.

  2. They are just too cute!!! I wonder what Sheba would look like with butterfly wings on her head, lol! She’d probably rip them to pieces, as she does will all things that she deems as “nonsense”…

  3. They are too cute!

  4. Steve and I are Lucy’s proud owners. She came to us five years ago via Liverpool where she had already been rehomed twice. It took us a while to make her feel secure but it was well worth it. She is loving, funny and very much a part of our lives. she works hard collecting for the kennels at Patcham so stop and say “Hello” if you see us rattling our collection tins.

  5. Hi Trish, thanks for popping by! And thank you to Steve for letting me take the picture. Lucy’s a lovely dog and I’m so pleased she found you both :)
