Today was a very special day – firstly it snowed! Hoorah! Not the thick snow of a New York winter but the light icing-sugar-dusting on a chocolate cake.
Secondly, Jessie met the rest of her family.
When we rehomed her two years ago, we were lucky in that she had been returned to the original family who had bred her. So when Mark and I met her for the first time we were able to meet Mum, Grandma and two other siblings.
Today we arranged a family reunion. The picures show, left to right on the log, Rose (Mum), Clover (Grandma), Miffy (sister), and in front, Jessie and Alfie (brother), all showing remarkable self-control!

Below we have Rose and Clover (Mum and Grandma) looking very cute but rather chilly. There’s not a great deal of family resemblance (Dad is a Yellow Lab) but they do all have gorgeous brown eyes as well as being very beautiful dogs. The younger ones had a lovely time today chasing each other through the woods
Happy Families!

What a nice looking family. How did you get them all to pose so perfectly for the camera?

The father is a yellow lab but I haven’t seen him yet. Must be handsome!
Mum, Grandma and Miffy (the sister) are all owned by a true ‘dog woman’ and they all just did as they were told! Must admit, I was amazed as well!
