We met Ellis last weekend. She is an unbelievable 18 years old and still enjoying sociable walks with her friends. Quite an inspiration I think you’ll agree.
Ellis is a Lab-Collie cross and was re-homed by her present family at the age of one. What a beautiful dog.

I so so do love the older doggies and Ellis is the best! I hope my dog grows old as well as Ellis has.
18 – wow! My first dog Bamse (a Bernese Mountaindog / Tervuren mix) lived to be nearly 14 in Africa.

Thanks for asking about this. I’m always careful when I take photos and make sure I ask if it’s okay to put the photo up on my site. Ellis’ owner said yes to that. But to be honest I feel a bit weird about saying yes to you – after all Ellis isn’t my dog. If she was there would be no problem.
